Photography – Photo Correction
This is a picture of my Nephew, Ryan, from several years ago. I never liked it, because his glasses caused spots of glare all over his face. I decided to use this image as my portrait. The process I used was slow but it worked pretty well. I used the spot healing brush a lot along with the clone stamp, all around the eyes. Once I removed the spots his eyes looked strange and I needed to do some copying. I used the lasso tool and selected around in different places on the lids and eyeglass frames. I copied the eyes from one eye and pasted them on another layer. Then I flipped them horizontally so they would fit correctly. I then used the free transform and puppet warp to place the eyes correctly. Once the eyes were fixed I noticed his cheeks were a bit red, so I created a hue & saturation layer and turned it black. I then used the brush tool on his cheeks with 25% opacity until they looked good to me.
