Photography – Lines

I went with my daughter looking for interesting lines and we found this footbridge with lines all over it.  In the image we see Kathryn standing at the top of the ramp and she is surrounded by lines.  We see a combination of horizontal and diagonal lines.  The beams on top form a crisscross pattern and the lines to the left of her form a shadow line on the floor below her.  All together they actually form a frame around her and create a dynamic effect.  What these lines do is lead the eye toward my daughter and the colorful tree.  What we also see in this picture is that Kathryn is located on the right third of the image.
